Since Chris Brown released his first single, we have loved his music, watched him grow and crash after his violent incident with Rihanna. It goes to show even celebrities have lives not so different to us.

Chris has been slated as a person since this hiccup in his life, but no matter what we cant help but still love his creativity on the music he has produced. People did not stop listening to his music, if not people listened more to keep the Chris we all knew and love not too far away.

So after everything that has happened in the past year it’s looking like 2010 is a promising year for Chris. He starts the year by releasing his new single, Crawl. And after hearing it, I have to say what a great song to come back with. It’s a reflection of his old music, what we grew to love him for.

This is possibly the best way to describe a love that has broken and one person crying out to the other to take things slow and get back to what they had. Telling the other person that they are willing to wait and do what it takes, to start over until they have the love they used to have.

The lyrics are there to be listened to, to be embraced and to remember the love you have, or once had and know that it’s still there and just needs to be found again. It also reminds us about the people who are lost in love, or lost trying to find it. Like the lyrics say, crawl before you walk, run before you jump – taking things slow is a must in this world we live in. Everything else is so fast paced, we miss the finer things in life, and we don’t embrace the full beauty of love when we rush into it. If you take love slow, let it grow, and nourish it it will be strong and should survive.

Chris Brown has definately got his message through, this song has meaning behind it weather it’s lyrics are aimed at a certain little lady or not, Crawl is a brilliant start to 2010.
